LPN

The LSUS LPN program has helped more than 550 students become Licensed Practical Nurses! The LSUS LPN program is approved by the Louisiana State Board of Practical 护理.

The LSUS Practical 护理 Program is a 12-month certification program under The College of Education and Human Development. The mission of the LSUS PN program is to prepare students to provide quality professional care to clients in hospitals, 医生办公室和诊所, long term care facilities or where nursing services are required under the direction of a Licensed Physician, 验光师, 牙医, 或注册护士. The LSUS LPN program is approved by the Louisiana State Board of Practical 护理 and has maintained 100% pass rate on the NCLEX. Upon satisfactory completion of the program, students will be prepared to sit for the National Licensor Exam for Practical 护理 (NCLEX-PN).

The LSUS PN program offers 2 Day classes per year. 1月和8月各一次. Classes are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Clinicals from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM with a total of 1,540 clock hours (730 Theory and 810 Clinical).

*LSUS PN Program no longer offers Evening Programs or classes.

Complete and pay $20 to process the LSUS PN application. This is available in the nursing office in the LSUS Technology Center-Room 141.

Type a one-page essay explaining why you are interested in the LSUS 护理 Program 和护理专业. Font size should be 12, style-Times New Roman. Double-spaced with 1-inch margins. Be sure to include your name on the essay. Essays may be mailed or delivered to our office.

Please proof your essay as this is a part of the application process.

The following documents are required:

Driver’s License/ Photo Identification Card
Official/ (Certified) Birth Certificate 或有凸起印章的护照
Official/ (Certified) high school transcripts/GED
Official/ (Certified) transcripts from any colleges, universities or technical schools
最低累积GPA-2.5 on high school or college transcript
Official/ (Certified) scores on standardized testing (ACCUPLACER, ACCUPLACER NEXT GEN, 课程, 行为); these scores should not be more than 3 years old.
Applications will not be accepted without test scores.

Invitations for Interviews will be emailed to candidates who submit complete applications on or before the deadline.

ACCUPLACER测试

We do not offer Accuplacer testing in the 护理 Department, but you can call the 继续教育 office at 318-798-4177 to schedule a test.

Testing appointments must be scheduled in advance and can be rescheduled only once. 考试费用不予退还. No refunds will be issued for any reason once a test has started. No refunds are issued for missed appointments.

To request your official PR行为ICAL NURSING Transcript, please print and complete the form linked below. After completing all fields, sign, date and then mail or fax the completed form to nursing@miili.net. Official requests are processed as quickly as possible and are usually processed within 5-7 business days of receipt of the request. The first two transcripts are free, but each additional request costs $5.00 payable by cash or money order. 不接受支票. Failure to complete all sections on the request form may cause a delay in processing.
